Our Pre-School
Deanshanger Village Pre-School is located at the heart of the Deanshanger Village community in Northamptonshire. Formerly known as Deanshanger Village Playgroup, we have been established for over 25 years - providing a nurturing environment for children from 2 to school age, focusing on individuality and independence.
We are ofsted registered, and provide 30 hours funding for 3 year olds. We do take funding from the age of 2 and 3 years olds from the term after his/her 2nd or 3rd birthday.
Our dedicated and qualified staff, alongside our excellent indoor and outdoor facilities, provide an outstanding setting for a child to start their journey into education. This website aims to tell you more about us and what we do...

Education
We recognise parents are the first and most important educators of their children. Our staff members work in partnership with you to provide high quality care and education for your child to develop and learn.
Key Worker
Each child is allocated a key worker when they begin their time at Pre-School. The key worker is responsible for gathering together picture, photos, and observation notes to enter into the child's' Pre-School journey book.
Pre-School staff are constantly observing and interacting with the children to identify their individual needs and interests.

"My son started Deanshanger Village Pre-School when he was 2. He has a few problems linked with autism, all the staff put so much effort into settling him in and found a routine that worked for him. The effort that was put into help him develop and learn was outstainding. Lorraine the special need co-ordinator in particular worked really hard with him to develop his speech and he is coming along leaps and bounds. Bev was always there to listen to my worries and offer advice. My son is nearly 5 now and started Deanshanger primary school, I am so thankful to the Pre-School for all they have done, his speech is so much better and the transition to school was smooth , in my opinion it wouldnt have been so good without the help and support of all the Pre-School staff"
